Humans makes mistake.
If he can own up, isn't he taking responsibility?
If he is trying to make up, isn't he being repentant?
If he is in pain, do you think he wants this to happen?
He would have thought of it for a long time, else he would not even admit.
What he seeks is not immediate forgiveness, but understanding for being honest.
He wants to be accepted for the painful truth.
